THIS DAY IN HISTORY….
I’ve said before that I’m not a big history buff when it comes to daguerreotypes but it’s fairly inescapable seeing as how I work in a medium so steeped in, well, history. Regardless, today is important because this is the day that France gave the world the gift of the daguerreotype and unleashed Daguerreotyomanie.
