Hi

I was hoping this might be of interest to you – one of my good clients asked me if I could make a Daguerreotype fuming box as she was unable to find one commercially. I decided to make a batch of these to enable me to keep the unit price down. Attached are some pictures, they are made in Mahogany with brass hinges and screws. A glass slide shuts of the fumes and a recess with ebony rails allows the dag plate to be fitted. A separate lid closes down when needed and a Pirex dish is included for the chemicals.
If you require any further pictures please do not hesitate to contact me. A discount is available for orders of 5 or more and timber choice can be changed for this quantity. Normal price is £225 plus postage.

I do have sets of fuming boxes available, though they're not featured on my website. I just completed a batch in Eastern Black Walnut [2/2009] - very nice. Get 'em while they're available; I may cease production in the near future. Contact steve@stephendaydesign.com for details.
