“The Daguerreotype Today” Panel Discussion at Aperture in New York

Four of the world’s top Daguerreotypists, Mark Kessell, Mike Robinson, Alyssa Salomon, and Jerry Spagnoli will be participating in a panel discussion at Aperture’s gallery at 547 West 27th Street in New York on Thursday 12/7 at 6:30PM.

The title, “The Daguerreotype Today,” is somewhat amorphous but I’m hopeful that the discussion will cover more of the artistic reasons that my peers have chosen for working in Daguerreotypes and less of the technical miscellany.

The event is free to the public and I highly suggest you attend.
(Slightly) More information after the jump.
