The Daguerreotype: Contemporary work by Jonathan Danforth

With this month’s update, I’m happy to report that some of my work is on display at the Through This Lens gallery in Durham, NC through March 15th. The most fun item of news is that on March first, I will be demonstrating my Daguerreotype technique in person at the gallery. The presentation will be at 7:00, will last for about an hour and a half, and is only $9 in advance. Check out the gallery website for information about buying tickets and such.

With the warmer weather comes great new opportunities and motivation. If the rain holds at bay, I plan to be out all weekend shooting some new work. If it does rain, then I’ll have more time to work on cases instead.
