Durham’s Art Scene Rocks!

Since my last update, I’ve been hard at work at my new job. Simultaneously, I’ve jumped head-first into the art scene of Durham. I’ve met a handful of artists and civic leaders seeking to promote the arts in Durham and we’re working on putting together a small community darkroom. I honestly don’t think that there’s enough interest out there anymore in traditional black and white processing but I hope to be enlightened.

Because I’ve moved jobs, states, and houses, I’ve been rather preoccupied. My parents treated the whole family to a week-long vacation on Edisto beach from which I’ve just returned. I haven’t had a vacation since my honeymoon two years ago and the occasion was quite pleasurable!
