It’s Official: We’re Moving to Durham

Well folks, you haven’t seen me post in a while since I’ve been interviewing for a new job. I have accepted a job in Durham, NC and I’ll be starting in the next two months! More money, cool company, great people, and a wonderful area. Durham, birthplace, it seems, of the tobacco industry is resplendent with fascinating buildings and architecture which should keep my shutter-finger busy for quite a while.
Being that I’m selling a house, buying a house, ending a job, starting a new job, and planning my son’s first birthday party, maintaining sanity will be difficult enough without the addition of working on my art. Despite having everything just about ready to set up shop for making Daguerreotypes again, I’m going to be breaking it all back down to move soon! Sheesh!
