New Opportunities and New Toys

The supplies keep rolling in!  My desk at work is starting to look like a full-blown chemistry lab and it’s very exciting.  I’ve tried my handywork at carpentry and discovered that it’s far better for the world that saws, jigs, and routers be left to the professionals and I should stick to my particular flavor of photographic arcana.

On the topic of the mysterious comments from my last update: I had an outstanding day at Kontek Systems interviewing for a new job in Durham, NC.  My potential new employer just happens to be a fine-art photography collector and has actually:

  • A) Heard of Daguerreotypes and
  • B) Knows who Jerry Spagnoli is!

    I should know something concrete in the next few weeks.
