Supplies are Ordered

I’ve raised enough money to order some supplies to make more Daguerreotypes. Who would have thought that Gold Chloride was so expensive! I bought a bench grinder, buffing supplies and rouge, router and table, chemicals, materials for a proper sensitizing box, some beakers and graduates, an electronic scale, and more! Now, it seems, I’ll have to start the Mac Mini fund all over again.

I’m starting work on the studio today to get it up and functional. Part of that is making the sensitizing box which, based on my carpentry skills, may end in bloodshed.

There may be some new news to report based on an upcoming event next week. I can’t say anything specific yet but I’ll keep you all informed.
